Kosta Papageorgiou of the @Lion500 initiative has agreed to become a brand ambassador for SafetyMountain Tracking.
As an avid hiker, Kosta is planning to hike up and down Lion’s Head 500 times to raise funds (R500,000) for 5 charities and community-based organisations. These are Rape Crisis, Fallen Angels, the Chipembere Rhino Foundation, Wilderness Search and Rescue, and the South African Depression and Anxiety Group.
In Kosta’s own words: “The hikes up Lion’s head are for those whose power was taken from them, or have had lost it during life’s events. It is a way to avenge those who suffer in silence, the humans and the animals.
